Questions Guests Ask

Something we did not cover? Give us a call and we will help.

When is the best time to visit Raquette Lake?

Every season has its draw. Summer is for swimming, boating and fishing; late September and early October bring peak fall color; winter means snowmobiling, skiing and nights by the fire; spring is quiet, green and full of loons.

How do I book?

Send a booking request from the Rates & Booking page with your dates and group size. We confirm availability, send your total and payment details, and you are set.

Is there a washer and dryer?

Yes — a washer and dryer are in the laundry room on the lower level.

Where do we park?

The cabin has its own gravel driveway with room for your cars off the road.

Can we bring our boat, canoe or kayaks?

Absolutely. Bring paddle craft on your car and launch nearby, or rent a slip for your boat at one of the hamlet marinas — see our Marinas page.

Are pets allowed?

Please ask before you book and we will let you know our current pet policy.

How is cell service?

Coverage in the central Adirondacks can be spotty, especially out on the lake. Download maps and directions before you leave home.
