Restaurants Near Raquette Lake

Cook in the cabin's big kitchen most nights, then plan one meal out on the water and one in town. Here is where we send our guests.

The hamlet of Raquette Lake is small and wonderfully quiet, so most dining is a short drive away in Inlet, Blue Mountain Lake, Long Lake or Old Forge. Many places in the central Adirondacks keep seasonal hours, and some close for part of spring and late fall — please call ahead before you make the drive.

Closest of all is the Raquette Lake Hotel & Tap Room — only a few hundred yards from the cabin and an easy walk.

Good to Know

  • Summer weekends and foliage season get busy; reserve dinner when you can.

  • Stock up on groceries on the way in — the cabin's kitchen has a gas range, a big island and everything you need to cook for the group.

  • Ask us when you arrive — we are happy to share this season's favorites.
